Chris Brown is facing a new legal battle as his former housekeeper pushes to present graphic injury photos in court, linked to a 2020 dog attack incident at his home.
The housekeeper, Maria Avila, is suing Chris Brown over the incident and is now opposing his request to block the photos from being shown during the upcoming trial. According to court documents, she argues that the images are important evidence that clearly show the seriousness of her injuries.
Avila says the photos are necessary to help explain the level of pain, suffering, and emotional trauma she claims to have experienced after the attack. She also believes that without the images, it would be difficult for her to fully prove the damages she is seeking in the case.
The legal dispute is expected to move to trial on June 15, where Avila is reportedly seeking around $90 million in damages. The case has continued to draw attention due to the high-profile nature of the singer and the serious allegations involved.
Ahead of the trial, Chris Brown’s legal team is also working to limit what evidence can be introduced in court. One of their key requests includes preventing references to his past legal issues, including his 2009 arrest involving Rihanna.
The court has not yet made a final decision on which evidence will be allowed when the case goes to trial, leaving both sides preparing for a closely watched legal showdown.
